About Stop TB Partnership Nigeria

The STOP TB Partnership Nigeria, is a multi-stakeholder partnership dedicated to complement the efforts of the government and other stakeholders to end the scourge of TB in Nigeria. It fulfils its mandate by advocating for increased political commitment, support and funding that such a significant challenge deserves. The Partnership comprises of government, parliamentarians, multilateral and bilateral organizations, development partners, private sector, academia, professional associations, civil society organisations, media and persons affected by TB. It is affiliated to the Global Stop TB Partnership, Geneva.

Complement the efforts of the government and other stakeholders to end TB in Nigeria

Advocate to policy makers, religious, traditional leaders, media and entertainment industry to increase profile of TB in Nigeria

Advocate to the government, donors and private sectors, to increase funding for TB programs

Support improved linkages between TB and other social determinants of health and broader development issues in Nigeria

THE TARGET

The target population for this application are: (1) policy makers at the sub-national (State) level especially the Executive and Parliamentarians; (2) TB Survivors, TB affected communities including civil society organizations, People living and affected by TB and other key and vulnerable populations.
