The World TB day Outreach for 2025 was held at the Sauka community, Abuja. Her Excellency the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, Global and National Stop TB Champion as special guest of honor.
Also at the event were high profile dignitaries, traditional leaders, and stakeholders in the fight to end TB.
Tuberculosis remains a major public health challenge but with commitment, investment, and action we can eliminate it. This year’s event themed: Yes! We Can End TB. Commit – Invest – Deliver. – We Fit Do Am!!!. Has Inspired government leaders, health experts, private sector partners, media, and community advocates to discuss:
Increasing awareness & early detection
Strengthening TB care & treatment services
Mobilizing investments to fight TB
Engaging communities in the fight against TB
The first lady in her keynote address at the event has put her words into action by promising the sauka community a fully functional health care center. Together, we can end TB!
